Industry vets Jo Jo Gator and Steve Lupo have written and produced records for over 30 years. Hit Brothers Records is the result of this team finally leaving the major label fortress and creating a network that works without playing the corporate game. Our infrastructure consists of a recording facility and offices in Chepachet R.I. that bands call “The Boot Camp”. Here acts rehearse, record, and learn how to sell their show, their CD’s, and merchandise. It’s a crash course in the music business that bands and performers need to know if they’re going to make themselves, and us, money. We have a mobile recording studio housed in a custom designed 20’ box truck. With this truck we have recorded live CDs for The Black Crows, Dropkick Murphy’s, Nick Moss and the Flip Tops, Killer Kane and the Blue FO’s, and many more. This studio is run by New England’s hottest live and studio engineer Bob Sloane, from Studio Live Recording in Seekonk MA. When the truck is not out recording, it’s also used as the control room for our Massachusetts studio. Our production and songwriting team consists of Jo Jo Gator, Steve Lupo, and Grammy nominated, multi platinum hit maker, Marvin Ennis. On top of this foundation of experience, hits, and infrastructure, lies the machine Hit Brothers Records. Hit Brothers is releasing their first product in November of 2009.
